Our Response to Coronavirus

Sporting Events

As we move into the next phase of the coronavirus response, some of our sporting event customers are starting to plan in their events.

Over the past few weeks we have been reviewing our response and how we will effectively manage our operations at events to ensure all safety measures are in place. Our treatment centres will be setup to ensure social distancing is adhered to, new signage and barrier systems have been obtained and procedures in place to screen patients prior to entering any treatment centre. We also have adequate stocks of PPE (face masks, face shields, hand sanitiser, aprons, etc) to help keep our team safe.

We have also been assisting our customers in helping to get safety measures in place and advising on social distancing, hand cleaning, high-risk area cleaning and other precautions.

We are also able to provide support in the screening of persons entering your event. Please contact us to discuss how we can support your event with this service.

As a responsible event medical provider, lots of planning has gone into making sure we keep both our staff and patients safe at the events we attend. We have completed our coronavirus risk assessments and treatment centre layout plans and will shortly be making their way out to our clients to keep them informed.

These form part of our response to how we will effectively manage our operations at events to ensure all safety measures are in place.

Key plans in place:

  • We have large stocks of PPE available to keep both our staff/contractors and patients safe at all times
  • All furniture (beds, chairs, tables) and equipment are cleaned at hourly intervals during the event
  • All furniture and equipment in use at events are tracked and deep cleaned at the end of each event
  • Increased use of radio communication between team members and event partners (organisers, marshalls, support staff)
  • Limiting the number of people within our treatment centres to maintain social distancing
  • Treatment centre layout plans to create a one-way system in and out and to encourage queuing at a safe distance from those working inside
  • Deep cleaning of vehicles after each event, or remaining unused for 72 hours
  • COVID19 workplace training for all our staff and contractors
  • Regular monitoring and updates of policies and procedures shared via our Contractor Portal
